I enjoy connecting with people, whether that's at a gaming convention, a concert or over sushi. I love to read philosophy and sociology, and share that information in practical, comprehensible formats. I've been honored to share this expertise on panels, such as the one I took part in at the Design Museum Den Bosch, or print media, such as my 8 page feature in Auxiliary Magazine. I am passionate about technology and helping those in need. Many of us tech folks can relate to being our extended families IT expert. This has always been my role. One which I furthered when I followed a friend over to Redbox on a whim, and was blessed enough to cultivate an 11 year career in our technical support department. I am proud to have grown and expressed my passion for empathetic human connection, creating meaningful and relatable training, and resolving complex technical issues to brighten the days of others. It was wonderful to be given the opportunity to work from the ground up, pioneering training material and processes for new products by Pokemon, Amazon and ChargeItSpot. Now that I am looking for a new job, I'm all the more cherishing the time I have with my wife and son. Having the sudden capacity to further my skillsets has also been a boon. I'm a lover of learning, whether that's about the life experiences of my fellow human, or a new technical skill such as SQL or CSS. Many of my job skills reflect the personal pleasure I take in being a student, and mastering new systems of thought to share with those around me.
