With decades of experience in the hospitality and events industry — from owning and operating my own venues to now being at the heart of our family business, Sound To Light, a leading audiovisual (AV) production company — my passion for creating exceptional event experiences has been a constant throughout my career. At Sound To Light, we specialise in sustainable AV production, delivering technical and creative solutions for conferences, awards shows, corporate events, and music festivals across Ireland. Our team is dedicated to curating memorable experiences that combine innovation, precision, and environmental responsibility. Currently completing a Master’s in Sustainable Tourism and Event Management, I’ve developed a strong focus on how sustainable event practices can enhance Ireland’s position in business tourism and attract international conferences and events. This academic path is helping me integrate ESG principles, low-impact production methods, and circular economy thinking into every project we deliver. My involvement as a board member of the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival — Europe’s largest event of its kind — aligns with my lifelong passion for promoting world-class live music and supporting cultural sustainability through events that bring communities together.
