Currently enjoying the role of Office Manager at Lockport CARES Emergency Homeless Shelter. Working with great staff and volunteers to serve the needy and homeless in Eastern Niagara Country, NY, USA. I provide basic office assistance to the organization including, but not only, answering phones, printing/copying, donor and new volunteer management, accounts payable & receivable (using QuickBooks), account (paper) reconciliation, payroll, some Human Resources and provide direct assistance to the Executive Director. In addition to the above I am called upon to write administrative standards/procedures and internal policy, design flyers for fundraising events and assist the fundraising chairperson. I still dabble in IT awareness, guidance and instruction, managing online apps to help our Intake/Admissions personnel. The position requires exceptional business written & verbal interpersonal skills, a part of the job I really enjoy.
