About Dani Marianacci

I received my MSW from the University of Southern California with my focus in Child, Youth, and Families. My life experience, as well as my academic rigors have deepened my interest and commitment to working in the field of mental health. My passion is to work closely with adolescents and their families, providing support with different issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, gender identity, social skills, family conflict, etc. As a clinician, it is essential to take into consideration race, ethnicity, and culture in order to provide a more competent, inclusive, and wholesome healing journey for all. I am interested in continuing to expand my knowledge in other areas of mental health such as eating disorders, personality disorders, etc. Since graduating USC, I have worked in different settings that have strengthened my clinical skills. One of my strengths is being able to build therapeutic rapport quickly with my clients and creating a safe space for them to share and express themselves. I have experience conducting individual, group, and family therapy. My experience in the field includes working closely with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating on treatment and ensuring client and family needs are being met. I find that collaboration and teamwork is not only important for my own clinical growth but is imperative for client/family success as well.
