About Dani P.

I am passionate about making the world a better and safer place. I have spent the last several years working in communications, marketing, and event management in charities, universities and membership organisations. I completed an LLM in Human Rights at Birkbeck, University of London, in 2019. I am currently working as an Event Manager at the Royal United Services Institute, a security and defence think tank based in the heart of Westminster. In my spare time, I am a volunteer mentor at ConnectHive and a volunteer befriender at the Association of Jewish Refugees. I am also a volunteer at Impact73, a UK-based network for founders, investors, students and anyone interested in maximising their social impact. I was the founder of Social Bubblegum, a marketing consultancy that I turned into a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2021. I have since closed the CIC to pursue other interests. I have studied and expanded my career across four countries: the US, the UK, Germany, and Spain. I am fluent in Spanish, I can read and understand some Hebrew. My research interests include: migration, terrorism/counterterrorism studies, human rights, Middle East politics & Latin American politics.
