About Danicia Quinlan

Danicia is an experienced and energetic business leader with a passion for the built and natural environment, strategy and creative implementation, built across 30 years of management, and leadership roles. She recently started at Aspect Studios, a global landscape architecture and urban design consultancy, in hybrid role that will brings her strategy, social performance, research, and engagement hat, along with some ground level Landscape Architecture project experience following the completion of her Masters at The University of Western Australia. This follows 18 months of contract work with Place.ID with strategic projects for UWA, Urbis, Synergy, the North Fremantle Port Beach Precinct Development and PARC Developments. Her contract with UWA in a leadership role within the Strategy, Planning & Performance team and Campus Planning teams. These roles required a strong focus on business strategy, creative design and planning, strategic and capital infrastructure projects and charting a new course for UWA into the future. Prior to this transition, she was head of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce providing a strong voice for business, development and activation across our Port city across her four year leadership term. As Co-Founder of Festival Fromage and Fromage Artisans, she led a significant change to the local hospitality and dairy industries through the creation of a flagship enterprise and a business that included a licensed fromagerie, a cheese and wine online delivery business and a city wide Festival. This was awarded with a Dairy Industry Award for Innovation in 2017. This followed two years of driving change at the helm of Perth's leading Fashion Industry body. As Executive Director for the Fashion Council WA, she re-branded the organisation to see a greater focus on industry development, brought the organisation into profit for the first time and set the strategic direction. Danicia holds a successful consulting track record, having founded Q&A, a management consulting and social research services company, and in a subsequent roles as Director Strategy with Hunter Communications, and as a Market and Social Researcher with Reark Research. These consultancy roles are complemented by over a decade in various senior advisory positions with BHP Billiton Iron Ore, Woodside Energy Ltd, Black Swan Theatre Company and the City of Westminster in central London.
