About Daniel Aguirre

I am a dedicated community relationship builder and organizer. My philosophy and approach is to be in sincere dialog and partnership with communities that experience marginalization and whose expertise is often invalidated by oppressive cultural norms. I work with organizations to evolve their culture to focus on earning, building and sustaining community trust. At Pueblo we seek to effectively listen and understand what communities aspire to, and uncover the truest representation of the realities they are navigating. Embedded within my work is a strong focus on responsive inclusion, understanding the intersections of representation, identifying and dismantling how we may be holding inequities in place, and addressing access gaps. The organizations and individuals who work with me will learn to challenge and grow in these areas and to interrogate their current approaches and evolve to be inclusive and equitable in practice and not in promise. There are no quick solutions; meaningful change takes time and investment. My goal is to lift up those around me and encourage them to rise to the moment with courage, intentionality, and love.
