About Daniel Ambach

As Head of Data Intelligence at the accantec group, I focus on transforming data into actionable insights by deploying Azure Databricks and other state-of-the-art cloud solutions. My work is rooted in rigorous scientific methodology: I hold a PhD in Economics from Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and a Master’s in International Business Administration, credentials that underpin my evidence-driven approach to analytics. Alongside my industry role, I serve as Professor at the DBU Digital Business University of Applied Sciences, where I teach Data Science, Data Engineering, and Statistics. Previously, I have also lectured at HTW Berlin (University of Applied Sciences), HWR Berlin (Berlin School of Economics and Law), and at my alma mater, Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). In every classroom, I translate cutting-edge research and statistical theory into practical learning experiences, equipping the next generation of data professionals with the robust scientific tools and mind-sets they need to solve real-world problems effectively.
