About Daniel Anderson

Born and raised Montanan, with strong family ties to ranching, coexistence, and holistic land management. Founder, The Common Ground Project - an organization that curates retreats, workshops, and unique gatherings for people navigating cultural and environmental issues in the Intermountain West. Co-founder, Yellowstone Safe Passages - a partnership on a mission to reduce wildlife-vehicle conflicts north of Yellowstone National Park. Research Partner & Facilitator, ARS Idaho Sheep Station - a new "collaboratory" led by USDA rangeland scientists working to establish multi-stakeholder input on rangeland science, biodiversity, and domestic sheep production. I provide facilitation and collaborative leadership services for partnerships and organizations throughout the region. Facilitation, communication, public engagement, leadership development, and collaboration are central in my work. I choose this path because the West is my home. It is a place I know and love.
