Versatile operations leader with over 20 years of experience, including general management of manufacturing and service organizations, operational excellence (Lean Six Sigma), supply chain, GMP quality systems, and strategy. Accomplished in developing safety-first, quality-always centered operational teams and improving profitability within turnaround and growth positioned businesses in both public and private companies. Most recently served as the Site Director of Millipore Sigma’s Virus and Gene Therapy contract manufacturing operation in Carlsbad, CA. Prior to Millipore Sigma, was General Manager of Sigma Aldrich’s Toxicology Services business in Rockville, MD. Previous to that, had progressive leadership positions with BioReliance, provider of biopharmaceutical safety testing and toxicology study services. Before BioReliance, served as Director of Functional Excellence for Invitrogen Corporation providing Lean Six Sigma training as a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, developed value-stream maps, and championed continuous improvement initiatives that instilled a quality-always culture. Prior to Invitrogen, spent over 7 years at Tefen Ltd, an international operations management consulting firm to Life Science and Hitech organizations.
