About Daniel Arceo

Hi, I’m Daniel! I’m a GIS Specialist at JANA Corporation, where I work with pipeline risk software to assess and mitigate risks in pipeline infrastructure. Using tools like ArcGIS Pro, Python, SQL, and data analysis, I help transform complex spatial data into practical insights that support safer, more efficient, and more sustainable operations I studied Geographic Information Systems at the University of Toronto Mississauga (BSc Honours), and also minored in Mathematical Sciences and English. That mix has given me a strong foundation in analytical problem-solving and clear, effective communication. Outside of work, I am a musician, book-lover, and nature-enjoyer! I'm always down to see live music, diving into the next Murakami novel, or heading out on a hike, run, or bike ride to reset and recharge. I'm always happy to connect with others who share a passion for the environment and for exploring how spatial data can be used to change the world (or with anyone with music and book recommendations!)
