About Daniel Arnold

I’m a freshly graduated UAH alumnus in Information Systems with a focus on Cybersecurity—and beginning to work on a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management. I’ve worked in a variety of jobs & settings over the years including an internship at uBreakiFix in Tuscaloosa doing IT work & tech repairs, as a research assistant in a clean lab at the University of Alabama, and as a data broker for LeadProducers LLC doing cold calls, setting up sales, etc. More recently, I worked over the summer with DCH in Tuscaloosa as an IT & Data Security intern. Currently I am working with the CCRE as part of the VICEROY program. I’m always looking for ways to broaden my perspective in the job market, and I’m always exploring opportunities within the Cybersecurity sector. As far as certs go, I completed my Sec+(SY0-701) this past summer, and am now progressing toward the long-term goal of a HackTheBox CPTS certification. My relevant cyber skills & experiences include Nmap, Debian-based Linux, Wireshark, CTFs, Python, SQL, Cisco Packet Tracer, Snort, and AIDE. My hobbies include scuba diving (anything with the ocean really), tennis, writing, and reading about/discussing philosophy & anthropology. Thanks for reading my intro!
