About Daniel Arseneault

Daniel has worked in the Information Technology industry for 20 years, 15 of those at CGI. The scope of this work has included working in the transportation, public, and financial service sectors. Skilled in all phases of the software development lifecycle, and having proven himself as an excellent problem solver, he has experience leading and mentoring teams in the use of both waterfall and Agile design methodologies. This has led Daniel to recently branch out into more high-end management consulting, including strategizing, project management, and most recently, assuming the role of Solution Architect. Here he has demonstrated a high aptitude for interacting with clients at all levels, from programmers to high-level executives. Working on multiple engagements, with a variety of vendors and stakeholders, Daniel has excelled at prioritizing responsibilities and business solutions, while managing teams of developers. His priority and loyalty is to the business, he leads by example, and he holds high standards for himself and his team. Daniel has a strong independent work ethic but works equally well with others, where his teammates have often looked to him for guidance, advice, and expertise. He continually strives for ways to improve communication and collaboration between vendors and clients. Daniel has helped develop and define a variety of financial contracts for clients, often resulting in growth of projects he is involved with. This demonstrates his ability to grow the business and meet financial obligations while continuing to meet project deadlines. He continues to build strong relationships and trust with clients and colleagues, by constantly delivering high quality products and helping others with their projects and deadlines.
