About Daniel Assulin

Growing up as a young sister to three talented brothers whose direction in life was clear since they were in the second grade, understanding what I wanted to be when I grew up was very confusing for me (black sheep, anyone?). That's because, in my nature, I had a lot of passion and curiosity, but the subject of these changed over time. Therefore, it took me quite some time to understand that my versatility was an asset, not a disadvantage. ‍ My journey began at unit 8200 in a technological role; I later on (like most 8200 alumni) joined to KitCut (a startup) as an analyst; I taught myself how to become a DJ, and it's a hobby I'm still pursuing (DM me for playlist recommendations); I have a bachelor's in Law and a minor in Philosophy, which has enriched me and affected the way in which I perceive the world and our society; I founded (during my studies) an independent student magazine, which gave me a place to express my creativity and passion for writing. ‍ After my bachelor's, I still felt hungry for more knowledge, especially in the practical business sense - so I went on to get an MBA. Today I'm concluding my internship in the IP department, a department that allows me to capitalize on my love of technology that started way back in 8200, as well as privacy (which is a new love), but from a new angle. I don't know where I'm heading next. But here is what I do know: I love to LEARN new things, face new CHALLENGES, SOLVE problems, combine DIFFERENT WORLDS and fields, and crucially - express my CREATIVITY.
