About Daniel Awodeyi

I’m a Computer Science student at Saint Louis University and an Associate Engineer at Edward Jones, where I build and support enterprise applications across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps pipelines. My core skills span Java/Spring, Oracle, React/Node.js, containerization, and CI/CD with Jenkins and Helm, but I’m equally focused on delivering value through reliability, security, and performance at scale. In my current role, I contribute to backend feature development, system integrations, and production support while collaborating with QA, DevOps, and product teams. I’ve taken ownership of deployments, monitoring (Prometheus/Splunk), and feature flag management (LaunchDarkly), earning trust as someone who can step up when projects are high-stakes. Outside of work, I serve through BDPA St. Louis, mentoring students on software engineering and cloud technologies while guiding them in real-world project delivery. This blend of technical depth and leadership growth reflects my long-term goal: to specialize in Cloud Software Engineering and eventually grow into technical leadership roles where I can shape strategy, mentor teams, and deliver scalable solutions that drive impact.
