About Daniel B. Redman

I have my Master’s Degree and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I believe in collaborating with those I work with. Addressing the issues, prioritizing them, and breaking them down into smaller pieces so they no longer seem overwhelming. I have 25+ years of experience working with at-risk youth, and their families. I have excelled in many environments including residential treatment, education, day treatment, and outpatient services. I integrate narrative, and cognitive-behavioral psychological modalities through an existential lens. I am trained to address problems related to adolescence, anxiety, depression, marital difficulties, and identity formation. I believe emotional health is affected by our thoughts, emotions, and physical state. I hold my clients as capable people who need guidance in their journey. I value the trust and confidence that is provided in me to aid in the revision in each individual's life. I received my Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from Augsburg College in 1996, and my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2006. I have been married for 19 years and have three children of my own. I love to write and record my original music, follow Twins baseball, Wild hockey, and I even enjoy cleaning!
