Background
About Daniel Badiou
Daniel is a thinker, an inventor and a maker. He grew up on a 5th generation dairy farm in southern Manitoba, where he acquired knowledge in agriculture and developed a passion for inventing new systems that make climate-conscious farmers' life easier and more flexible. Daniel graduated in mechatronics engineering at Polytechnique Montreal University. He worked on various projects such as poultry housing installations, industrial robots & farm automation that led him to found Ukkö Robotics in 2016. Ukkö Robotics is on a mission to bring back livestock to pasture using automated mobile infrastructure. These systems enable the farmer with technology that makes livestock integration easy and allows them to practice regenerative agriculture on their farms.
