About Daniel Baier
A scientist with a passion for innovation, sustainability and science communication. As a postdoctoral researcher, I apply my analytical, organizational and communication skills and lead a team of graduate students in interdisciplinary research projects at the interface of organic synthesis, mechanochemistry and crystal engineering. Previously, I successfully completed my PhD in chemistry, focusing on the development of new and sustainable synthetic methods using mechanochemistry. At the same time, I initiated the Millovation research transfer project. My team successfully raised six-figure funding to prepare a spin-off company which focused on the development of sustainable processes for the chemical industry.
