Perform various complex duties classified as moderate inclusive of calibration, maintenance and repairs of tools and equipment in line with established SOP’s. • Document calibration process and prepare reports, as required. • Perform calibration and approve products and accessories that meet tolerances and product specifications. • Manage repair and calibration of assessment tools and measurement of equipment inclusive of general purpose. • Streamline and perform update on all software/firmware for customer computers. • Administer all calibration methods and procedures. • Manage workload to achieve production schedules and ensure completion within timeframe. • Coordinate with production and engineering departments for internal and external customers. • Prepare all documentation applicable for various assignments • Monitor and complete all business tasks within timeframe and ensure optimal quality. • Maintain control and traceability related to tooling inside shop and outside vendors. • Assist various departments to resolve and repair of equipment which determine precision. • Perform service and maintenance of OPTIMA equipment in the United States • Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, inspect, and repair OPTIMA equipment • Calibration, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and components on OPTIMA equipment at customer sites • Follows instructions and duties as requested by Service Account Manager • Train Customers on use and operation of equipment • Diagnose errors or technical problems to determine proper solutions • Document processes for further improvement • Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues • Conduct research and studies on-site • Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise • Oversee repairs and technical improvements • Install new systems and technology • Inspect machines for safety and proper operation
