About Daniel Bejan

During my four years career as Logging Geologist and twelve years as Drilling Fluids Engineer, I have been working for various companies in various oil fields. Here is a brief summary of my experience, you will find details in the attached CV. Almost all of my experience I gathered on the North Sea (mostly in England, Scotland and Norway), because of the various locations I had the chance to study many of the oilfields and their different reservoir types (chalk, sand and unconventional reservoirs as well). Working in Libya, Ivory Coast, Kuwait, Israel and Albania is further extended my experience on different plays, special environments and attitudes. I have a 5 years B.Sc. degree in Geology and a 2 years M.Sc. degree in Integrated Geological Sciences, obtained at the University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Iasi. I have also graduated several courses of Geolog, Weatherford SLS, Schlumberger Specialties. Experiences have been gathered in Pixler-plot, gas concentration and pressure evaluation and in the same time, in the generation and interpretation of Formation Evaluation - Drilling - Gas - and Pressure Logs. Well trained and experienced in wits type systems. Experiences have been gathered of standard invert OBM, Bentonite muds, KCl Polymer, salt sat, reservoir dril-n (OBM and WBM) and HPWBMs. Familiar with hole cleaning, hole stability, solids control. Capable of running any required lab test onboard (standard API check, Particle Plugging Tester, Production Screen Tester, Particle Size Distribution, Garret Gas Train.
