About Daniel Belanger

For over 15 years I have been teaching kids from grade 1 to 12 sciences in French or Englsih. My passion has always been teaching. We have homeschooled our two sons from 2005 to 2017. My part in teaching was the science curriculum. Geography, chemistry, physics, etc. In 2005 I was receiving the request to share my experience teaching from other families. So I started a science group called 'Les Écolo-Espions'. 4 families joined in. Then started another class in St-Bruno. from 2005 -2013 every 2 weeks I would teach science using different approaches to develop a passion for observing, manipulating, discovering, and the most important of them all curiosity. Having to move to Winnipeg for work in 2013, I had to close down my classes in Québec. In 2015 I join a local group of homeschool teens and started teaching science called '365' my biggest success was to have them flying Rockets from everyday materials. In 2016 I brought this concept to Winnipeg Fort-Whyte alive. Started a science club and every 2 weeks would do a class on a subject. Due to Covid, everything was put on hold. I love teaching and «I am looking forward to beginning again. At CP rail I tried to bring that same passion in my training, at the CP police, in intermodal operations.
