About Daniel Bell

I am a graduate of the University of New England where I obtained a Masters in Social Work in 2016. During my time in the field I have worked in a number of capacities and with a diverse population of clients. I have served on interdisciplinary teams and I am an effective team member. Currently I am serving the role of an Affiliate,(Outpatient Clinician) with Health Affiliates of Maine. I work with a variety of clients across the clinical spectrum on an outpatient basis. I have been called committed and passionate by my peers and mentors. I have been able to be involved in multiple facets of social work and social justice including providing testimony at the state level, conducting my own qualitative research thesis, and serving as a research assistant during my time as graduate student at the University of New England. I was honored to be asked to provide our commencement speech during our class graduation. I offer a unique perspective to social work in that I have my own story and have the ability to connect with others and build strong therapeutic alliances. I am continuously looking to progress in my skill set and profession.
