I have working knowledge of EMD, GE and ALCO locomotives and most North American freight car maintenance and repairs. I am a high-energy individual with more than 36 years hands-on railroad experience. With over 40 years of management experience in Class 1, short line/regional railroads, major rebuild shop, I have led all activities concerning the rebuild & upgrade of locomotive maintenance, repair and servicing of locomotives in a cost efficient manner to improve locomotive availability & reliability while meeting customer commitments as well as focusing in meeting or exceeding company business objectives. Safety is the number one concern in all operations and activities and that work is carried out in a safe manner, help develop and initiate preventive safety programs and corrective action as necessary. I delivered improved value to our customers: depart trains on time, arrive trains at destination with no equipment failure, safe and clean locomotive, reduce waste, manage labor forces, and increase capacity.
