About Daniel Bellissimo

I am a solicitor, currently working in the field of immigration law, assisting clients with a variety of visa and citizenship matters. This is a complex and constantly changing area of law that requires staying up to date with legislation, regulations and policy to ensure clients’ matters are handled properly and efficiently. My legal experience includes amongst other aspects legal research, case management, preparing submissions, conducting consultations, completing and proof reading personal statements, drafting letters, mentoring junior staff and general practice management. I graduated in 2014 with a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, a top Canadian law school. In September 2014 I immigrated permanently to Australia and completed my bridging courses at Monash University in 2015 before getting admitted to practice in Victoria. I believe that legal professionals play an important role in society by facilitating access to and interpreting the laws which govern our country. I am in the early stages of my legal career and looking at developing and growing my skillset to become the best legal practitioner I can.
