About Daniel Bertolmaos

Daniel is an enthusiastic Project Manager and Senior Supply Chain Manager currently managing various projects that Wood is executing on the Conoco Phillips Programme, for Kearl Projects and for the COTE Gold Mine Project. Prior to looking after small projects, he was managing Supply Chain on one of the biggest projects in the world (The Kearl Oil Sands Project). Over the span of his career, he has managed both small projects, with a few personnel as a working manager, and also (mostly) large projects with a budget over $4 billion, delivering over 100, main tagged pieces of equipment and managing a team of over 160 people during peak times of the project. Daniel’s background is Chemical Engineering, but he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters in Project Management. He is fluent in English and Arabic, has a very good working knowledge in French and basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian. He is an experienced World traveler who has managed Business Relationships with over 250 suppliers globally, that stretch from Busan, South Korea to Vernon, California and everything in between whilst on the Kearl Suite of Projects. He has been a Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager and Supply Chain Manager over his 22-year career thus far. He is an Export Control Compliance Subject Matter Expert in Canada and the United Sates. Daniel specializes in critical tag expediting & supplier management. He is mobile with multicultural travel experience.
