Background

About Daniel Bispo

With over a decade of experience in railway maintenance, I have worked directly with preventive and corrective maintenance of rolling stock and, more recently, in the metrology laboratory at CPTM, where I develop calibration procedures for measuring instruments. I have also been involved in overseeing maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, and quality standards. My academic background complements this journey: I hold a Master’s degree in Management and Technology of Production Systems, a specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering, and undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Production Processes, and Business Management. This technical and managerial foundation allows me to operate strategically, combining hands-on experience with a systemic perspective. I’m easy to work with, empathetic, and collaborative. I believe knowledge only has real value when it’s applied and shared — and that’s what drives me to constantly seek improvement and innovation in the workplace. I speak English and am prepared to work in diverse and challenging environments. I’m also deeply interested in becoming a teacher or instructor, contributing to the development of new professionals and bringing real-world industry experience into the classroom in an accessible and inspiring way.
