About Daniel Bourque

Daniel Bourque, MS, ACS, RCS, FASE, is the program director for the Orlando Health School of Cardiac Ultrasound. Mr. Bourque’s duties also include echo technical director and quality improvement coordinator at Orlando Regional Medical Center. These responsibilities include bi-monthly teleconferences, protocol and training development, and back scanning for complex pathology. Daniel serves as an adjunct instructor at the Gulf Coast School of Ultrasound, professional speaker for Lantheus Medical Imaging, and has been an invited speaker to ultrasound society meetings on a national basis. He currently serves on the RCS writing committee for Cardiac Credentialing International. Mr. Bourque’s areas of interest include sonographer education and training, advanced imaging techniques, and sonographer quality improvement. Mr. Bourque extensively volunteers for the American Society of Echocardiography on their sonographer’s council, CME and FASE committees, and is a graduate of the ASE leadership Academy Cohort 2. Mr. Bourque earned his BS in education and his MS in exercise physiology from Southern Connecticut State University. He completed his echocardiography training at the Hoffman Heart Institute School for Cardiac Ultrasound in Hartford, Connecticut.
