About Daniel Boyer

I am a recent graduate from the University of Central Missouri, with a bachelors in Biochemistry and a minor in Psychology. I have three years of experience in the undergraduate research lab, with research contributing to a publication in which i am a co-author of. The publication is currently in the review process to be published in the Nanotechnology section of the interdisciplinary journal “Frontiers in Chemistry”. The title of the manuscript is “Renal Clearable Gold Nanoparticles Functionalized Silk Film for in vivo Fluorescent Temperature Mapping”. I also have been working as an automotive technician at Jiffy Lube for the past three years as well. My most relevant skills are hands on experience in chemistry laboratory skills and automotive technologies. I have a good amount of experience analyzing data using programs such as Microsoft Excel and am proficient in understanding and utilizing information from scientific journals. I also have a background in conservation and outdoor education. My passions include but are not limited to Chemistry, Biology, Ecology, Conservation and Psychology. Working at Jiffy Lube along side of pursuing my academic goals has taught me the importance of a hard work ethic, leadership skills and time management. I also have brief volunteer experience with field work such as water sampling and fisheries management techniques.
