About Daniel Braithwaite

As a Cyber Security Manager at BAE Systems, I direct and coordinate the work of the ISSM and ISSO teams to ensure compliance with DoD Instructions and RMF for the Air Force IT systems. I have over 16 years of experience in the IT and Cybersecurity field, with credentials such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA PenTest+, and ISC2 CISSP. I am passionate about integrating Cybersecurity throughout the lifecycle of IT systems, supporting the development and review of Cybersecurity-related artifacts, and managing the information security incident response program. I have expertise in using SIEM tools, Vulnerability Scanners, and EDRs to monitor networks, and monitor movement of information, mitigate and contain security breaches, and produce RMF packages. I am also a retired Sergeant First Class in the Army Reserves, where I gained valuable leadership and teamwork skills.
