About Daniel Branski

Daniel Branski was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is an undergraduate from Michigan State University acquiring a bachelor's degree in Material Science and Engineering. He has lived in a variety of locations throughout his life attending six different schools and one university during his educational career. His family has lived in two different US states (California and Michigan) and abroad for four years in Lausanne, Switzerland. His periodic relocation has exposed him to a variety of cultures and work environments that have promoted interests in manufacturing, business, economics, history, investing, and politics to supplement his formal education in engineering. His current career experiences have dealt with topics related to manufacturing, problem-solving, research and development, management, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, statistical process control, and metallurgy. During his education at Michigan State University, he worked with titanium, stainless steel, electron microscopy, and x-ray diffraction. Previous employment involved investment die casting airfoils using nickel-based super alloys, medical product manufacturing, and commercial heat treat. Currently working as a process engineer within Intel's Dry Etch department for 10 and 14nm computer chip fabrication. His experience in the manufacturing of medical products, aerospace components and computer chip has taught him how a company culture greatly determines the success, failure, or problems experienced by a business. Safety, defect-prevention, lean manufacturing, process control, statistics, and management culture and 21st century manufacturing.
