About Daniel Brenner

I am currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario. I specialize in site assessment, investigation and delineation projects, advanced site characterization, and contaminated site remediation. I have practical experience with small and large scale, multi-year projects on various contaminated properties, including industrial/manufacturing facilities, metal recycling facilities, transportation facilities, solid waste disposal facilities, fuel outlet facilities, storage and warehousing facilities, utility distribution stations, and municipal, commercial, and residential properties. I have practical experience in managing, evaluating, designing, and implementing soil and groundwater remediation projects, and contaminant management plans based on in-situ and ex-situ technologies, including permeable reactive barriers (PRBs), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), reductive dechlorination, enhanced biological degradation, carbon-based technologies, treatment systems, soil mixing, and remedial excavations. I have managed and coordinated projects on properties impacted with a wide range of contaminants, including metals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), and pesticides.
