About Daniel Buckner

Hi, I'm Daniel and I like to build software and I occasionally write about it on my site d-buckner.org. Professionally, I design and build software at AWS. Some things I've enjoyed doing in that capacity are- Designing and leading a team to build a system to merge multiple large-scale data dashboards. It constructs and reconciles large dependency graphs to optimize nested datasets, calculated columns, filters, and parameters while guaranteeing data correctness- Designing and building a distributed pixel-perfect rendering engine that is responsible for creating enterprise-grade reports at scale with lots of nice graphs, which is used by many fortune 500 companies- Working deeply with headless browsers, their performance, orchestration, and surrounding technologies. As a part of this work, I've contributed code back to Google's Puppeteer project. I've also advised many teams across AWS in this domain.
