Dan Bumblauskas is Dean of the Breech School of Business at Drury University, where he leads a team of dynamic faculty dedicated to shaping ethical, innovative business leaders for a global and data-driven world. A tenured full professor and experienced executive, Dan brings a unique blend of academic leadership, private-sector expertise, and entrepreneurial vision to his work.Prior to Drury, Dan served as Executive Director for the Center for Workforce & Economic Development and the Kit Bond Technology Incubator at Missouri Western State University, where he also held roles as Associate Dean of the College of Business & Professional Studies, Chair of Engineering Technology, and tenured Professor of Management. He previously led the MBA Program at the University of Northern Iowa as Faculty Director and was an Associate Professor and the Hamilton/ESP International Fellow in Supply Chain & Logistics. Earlier, he served as an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Missouri.Dan is a passionate educator and researcher in operations and supply chain management, service industry operations, Six Sigma, and analytics. He has published over 50 academic papers and proceedings and actively consults across industries. As Senior VP at PFC Services, Inc, he works with organizations to enhance business processes and operational performance.In the private sector, Dan held progressive roles with ABB Inc, serving as Group Account and Marketing Manager in the Power Products Division, managing key commercial operations for OEMs and leading teams across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. He also worked in regional and field sales roles in high voltage systems and customer training. His career began with Sears Holdings Corp, focusing on knowledge management, data mining, and systems support for sears.com.Dan earned his B.S, M.S, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and holds a master’s degree in General Management from Harvard University. He is committed to lifelong learning, servant leadership, and preparing students and professionals for success in an increasingly interconnected and digital world.
