About Daniel Burton

I am passionate about photography, and specialise in architectural photography and high level photography. I photograph a whole host of things from solar panels and roofs being installed to finished buildings. Investment photography of large retail parks for asset management companies, to a letting brochure of a small trade unit. Check out my website for examples of my work A little background on me…. I had a keen interest in photography from age 13 and my dad built me me own dark room at home. This was something I truly loved and spent hours in there developing and printing my own films. At the age of 14 whilst still at school I enrolled in an evening course in photography at Kitson College in Leeds. I learnt a whole lot from the course and knew I was keen to further my knowledge and hopefully make this my career. I even got a Saturday job working at Jessops in the Merrion Centre, Leeds. Where I took great inspiration from the Manager Ray Walker, he was old school and had a wealth of knowledge and was always someone to get advise from. I went on to do a 2 year BTEC photography diploma at Leeds College of Technology, while working weekends at Jessops still. After College and a few spells of work experience at Ross Parry Photo agency and Leeds City Council, I gained my first job in professional photography at Mark Swinford photography. Thats where I found out what I had learnt just far was the basics and nothing counts like on the job experience…. Today I still love photography as much as I did twenty something years ago…….
