Hey! I'm Daniel - a Level IV Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at McMaster University. I recently completed a 12-month internship at ArcelorMittal Dofasco in the Cranes & Lifting Engineering team, where I was responsible for developing safe and cost-effective lifting solutions for plant-use as well as maintaining and developing repairs for plant-owned cranes and lifting equipment. As a member of the 2024 MACtion Potential team, I worked with an inter-disciplinary team on an EEG-controlled mood lamp which was submitted in the 2024 NeuroTechX Annual Competition. I firmly believe in "Work Hard, Play Hard"- I've trained for and completed 2 marathons in the last two years, and earned my spot on the Dean's List for every semester of my post-secondary studies. Aside from school and work, I enjoy tennis, weightlifting, guitar, and travel.
