Head of Protection Maintenance Division at ENDE Transmisión S.A. Electrical Engineer, graduated with academic excellence from Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS)(2016). Master's in Power Systems from the same university, with a thesis defense in electrical protection (2023). Active member. Holds a Diploma in Higher Education (2017) and a Diploma in Maintenance Engineering (2021). Lecturer at UMSS since 2019 and has served on graduation examination boards. Started his career at ENDE Transmisión in 2016 as a Protection Maintenance Engineer and assumed the role of Head of the Protection Maintenance Division in 2022. His expertise includes maintenance, operation, and analysis of protection systems, control, and communication networks in electrical substations, leading major expansion projects and improvements to the national power system. He has participated in national and international training sessions and conferences on relays and protection systems, electromagnetic transients, protection coordination, and IEC 61850 standards. His main interests include the proper protection of electrical systems, relay configuration, fault analysis in power systems, power system simulation using specialized software, digital processing for protective relays, automated substations (SAS), and programming languages for task optimization.
