About Daniel Cajina

I am a recent graduate from the University of Tampa seeking an entry position as an RN. In my time at the University of Tampa I have completed 986 clinical hours, with 169 of them being my preceptor experience on a Progressive Care Unit at Florida Hospital. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Tampa I had an incredible moment of enlightenment whilst educating a group of young children in Jinotega, Nicaragua. As nurses we have been educated and trained to be safe, competent, and advocates for our patients; however, our practices encompasses these qualities and so much more. I believe in our ability to positively influence the lives of those around us in sustainable ways, I believe in our responsibility to empower those who we care for to become champions of their own health. Finally, I fully recognize that it is our responsibility to spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally heal those who need our help.
