About Daniel Callahan

I consider myself a transmedia artist and designer; meaning that my work spans, mixes, morphs and ultimately transcends the mediums I use. Through my practice I look to re-establish the innate connection between the individual and the collective, and to bridge the gap between art, artist, observer and environment. I am passionate about finding connections between cultures, peoples, and ideas and aim to create works that integrates entertainment, fine art, and cultural activism. While my mediums are in constant flux, and range from film, graphic design, music, painting, poetry, prose and performance what is constant is my aim to create holistic, fully immersive experiences using the platforms of storytelling, ritual and technology.
