About Daniel Cauchi

My coding journey started in 2013 when I was 13 years old, and ever since then I have been hooked. I always have at least one project underway and this can be seen on my github profile. As a hobby within this area, I enjoy game development due to the different skills and out of the box problem solving required for each task. With regards to my professional career, my interests lie in high performance computing and the vast world of machine learning, with a soft spot for computer vision. These interests were kindled during my studies and further ignited during my time at MITA and more profoundly when working with Greenroads Malta. Here I was given the chance to use AI to solve challenging problems, ones which often required out of the box thought processes. During my university studies and first work experiences I was fortunate to be given the opportunities to create prototype projects. Nowadays, however, I know the importance of professionalism and proper practices a developer must take to ensure the health and longevity of their projects. For this reason, I am continuously striving to improve within this area, alongside academic growth, through practice as well as research.
