About Daniel Cha

I am a master's student at Columbia University, specializing in Computer Science with a strong focus on Big Data and Cloud Computing. I have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and AWS microservices, demonstrated through a series of successful projects. These include creating a Kubernetes-based task scheduling application, architecting a full-stack AWS photo album, and engineering a serverless chatbot. My technical skills are bolstered by Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and various database technologies. I excel in developing scalable, efficient data pipelines and cloud-based solutions, striving to innovate in the field of data engineering. Communication skills and teamwork are core virtues a fine engineer should have. As a patient listener and efficient organizer, I acted as a mediator between my teammates' different approaches and opinions so we could come to the optimal solution. The interpersonal and leadership skills I gained through diverse team projects became the foundation for my successful collaboration at the open-source contribution academy hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, Korea.
