With over a decade of specialized experience in lithium exploration and a background in Geological Engineering, I have been at the forefront of developing significant lithium resources since 2011. As Senior Project Geologist at Surge Battery Metals, I spearhead the Nevada North Lithium Project, a burgeoning world-class lithium clay deposit. This role allows me to leverage my extensive knowledge of the genesis and upstream processing of lithium-bearing clays. My professional journey has taken me across notable lithium basins like Salar del Hombre Muerto, Clayton Valley, and Rhyolite Ridge, sharpening my skills in project management and strategic resource evaluation. At Surge Battery Metals, I focus on pioneering exploration strategies, leading dynamic teams, and championing sustainable mining practices to optimize lithium extraction. I am deeply passionate about developing innovative exploration techniques, advancing environmental stewardship, and fostering collaborative leadership. Among my achievements, I've contributed to pioneering research in lithium clay processing, made significant lithium discoveries, and authored influential research on lithium clays. Outside the office, I embrace adventure through rock climbing, a pursuit that complements my geological interests. Many of my climbing partners are fellow geologists, enriching our expeditions with both professional insights and shared challenges as we explore geological wonders.
