About Daniel Chang

As an Air Traffic Controller at the Federal Aviation Administration since 2019, I have been applying my problem solving and interpersonal skills to ensure the safety and efficiency of the national airspace system. I coordinate the movement of thousands of flights every day, using advanced technology and communication systems to monitor and guide aircrafts on the ground and in the air. Before joining the FAA, I gained valuable experience in retail management, working as a Produce Manager and an Assistant Perishables Manager at Hy-Vee, Inc. for over two years. There, I developed my skills in customer service, coaching, business management, and Microsoft Office. I also earned my Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Kansas School of Business, where I learned the fundamentals of accounting, finance, marketing, and management. I am passionate about aviation and committed to serving the public interest with professionalism and integrity.
