About Daniel Chase

I’m a native of Richmond, VA area and was born and raised in Chesterfield, VA. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May of 2024 from Liberty University’s Financial Planning Program, and I’m incredibly proud of that achievement. I didn’t get into the financial advisory business because it was easy; I chose this path because I recognized the difficulty and complexity involved in making sound financial decisions. I wanted to become an advocate for others, ensuring that time works for them, not against them. My early exposure to managing money came at a young age. When I was 12, my parents told me I had to start paying my own bills, and my brothers and I started a landscaping business. We began by cutting our next-door neighbor’s yard, and over time, we expanded to include neighbors up the street. To this day, my older brothers run the company full time, and I worked there seasonally during college. Having been so involved in money decisions early on, I became more of a saver than a spender. By 18, I was able to buy my first car with cash, which taught me the value of delayed gratification. In the summer of 2023, I interned at Covenant Wealth Management in Winston-Salem, NC, where I got my first real taste of what it’s like to work in wealth management. During my senior year at Liberty, I also served as a Peer Financial Coach for the Center for Financial Literacy. In that volunteer role, I met with students and staff to help them navigate various aspects of personal finance, including budgeting, student loans, and general financial education. I’ve always had a strong work ethic, which I developed through numerous physically demanding jobs early on. I worked in commercial and residential landscaping and even spent time in the truck driving industry, working 16-hour shifts. Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting, hiking, and any kind of outdoor activity. My passion is to make personal finances feel more approachable and less stressful for others. Through my work with students and staff, I realized that most people have little to no knowledge about managing their money, and I want to change that.
