About Daniel Chenin

Daniel is an award-winning architect with equal experience in interiors and architecture. He is licensed in multiple states, certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB), and an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Additionally, Daniel is a LEED accredited professional with a specialized credential in Building Design and Construction (BD+C). Daniel's experience areas include hospitality interior design with top-tier destination commissions throughout the world, corporate office design, and luxury residential design. In addition to Daniel's practical knowledge and experiences, from 2002 - 2012 and 2017 Daniel has been an Adjunct Professor in both interior design and architecture at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Architecture. In recognition of Daniel's leadership in design, service to the profession and the community, he was the recipient of the coveted AIA Nevada Silver Medal for the year 2022, the AIA Western Mountain Region (WMR) Young Architect Award for the year 2014, the AIA Nevada Young Architect Award for the year 2012, and the AIA Nevada Distinguished Service Associate Award for the year 2010. Daniel has served multiple times on the AIA Las Vegas and Nevada Boards and was appointed as the 2014-2015 AIA National Young Architect Regional Director for the AIA WMR. Additionally, Daniel served on the AIA Nevada Executive Committee as the Nevada NCARB Architect Licensing Adviser for a six year term from 2011 to 2017. He received his professional architecture degrees from UNLV where he was awarded the Fielden Medal for Academic Excellence in Architecture and the College of Fine Arts' Most Outstanding Graduate Scholarship.
