Experience. Style. Creativity. These have been the tenets of my work in the hospitality, catering and event planning industry for over a decade. Most recently, I have been the Food & Beverage Director at the historic Gladstone Hotel, managing an incredibly busy and active F&B portfolio with over 50 direct reports. This portfolio included two restaurants and four event spaces. Prior to that, I was the Food & Beverage Manager of the Pantages and Cosmopolitan Hotels in Toronto. There, I was responsible for managing both the Pantages Martini Bar as well as Banquets. As the Manager of the Martini Bar, it was my responsibility to demonstrate leadership to its employees, and to reimagine its layout/décor, menus and marketing with a goal of increasing revenue. In restaurants, I have a strong personal focus on service and food quality and work closely with my team to bring about tangible increases in both. I have significant experience creating and redesigning food menus and have created an customizable employee handbook which I use to train my employees.
