About Daniel Collazo
Graduated from Cienega High School with a weighted GPA of 5.03, which is also where I realized that I have an innate love of learning. Thanks to some truly exceptional teachers and friends in high school I've also realized that I really enjoy teaching and helping people. I'm a quick learner and am happiest when I can think about things analytically. I'm fascinated by living things and the molecular machines that make the physical world around us possible. After doing some research into different career fields I feel that I can best fulfill my potential to help people by doing science as a genetic engineer, possibly designing the next wave of vaccines, creating a super hardy strain of soy or researching biological pathways to further future research. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, birding, playing the trombone and listening to jazz.
