About Daniel Connolly

I am currently living and working in Vorarlberg, Austria. I work at a company called Heron (based in Dornbirn), working for the subsidiary Robotunits GmbH. My job includes designing and processing client projects using Robotunits modular automative system. Projects range from differing conveyor types, safety fencing, frames and other special projects. I use a variety of programs daily (such as IronCAD) and create designs in both 2D and 3D, creating offers and orders for clients. I am a team leader, a translator (as the only "native speaker") and I also do graphic work for the company. I studied two University degrees in Dundee, Scotland - BSc Innovative Product Design and MSc Design Ethnography. Being born in Scotland my mother tongue is English, but I also speak fluent German (including Austrian dialect). I can also speak and write basic French (more experience in technical terms).
