About Daniel Connolly

With over four years of experience as a data analyst and engineer, I am passionate about delivering cloud-based data solutions and reporting that enable organizations to optimize their performance and processes. As a Senior BI Consultant at Systemic LLC, I build low-cost fully automated ETL pipelines using Python, AWS Lambda, Pandas, and Tableau Hyper API, and create bespoke reports to customer specifications in SSRS and Power BI. I also serve as a key consultant on site and remotely to a half dozen organizations in maintaining and upgrading their ERP systems, resolving SSRS reporting and application issues, and suggesting process improvements in financial and operations processes. Prior to joining Systemic LLC, I supported a squad in an agile environment migrating a high visibility API from an on-prem backend to a cloud (AWS) one relying on Microservice architecture, developing a JSON differencing tool and automating functional testing using Postman, Newman, Node, JavaScript, and Swagger/OpenAPI contracts. I hold three AWS certifications and a Master of Science in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
