Background
About Daniel Constanzo
Since my first day at American Eagle Airlines, I have progressed exponentially. With each new experience, I’ve built on the foundation that began, in part, on a trip to Wall Street that opened my eyes to the wealth of arenas within finance. Ultimately, corporate finance is where I found my passions lie. In harnessing my inquisitive nature, work ethic, and team-player mentality, I have built a reputation as a versatile and innovative financial professional over the last 13+ years. A results-oriented problem solver, I combine quantitative evaluation and strategic and tactical decision-making expertise to meet financial objectives. The results of these efforts increase operational efficiency, improve financial processes, and, ultimately, cut costs or add revenue. Doing this work can be minute and tedious, but when one enjoys identifying problems and providing actionable solutions the work itself is rewarding. I am dedicated to providing solid customer service for not only those services within my purview but those systems that are associated with what I do. Throughout my career, I have taken on special projects beyond the scope of my day-to-day assignments to be of service where I can. When it comes to leadership in the workplace: My experience and willingness to perform the tasks I am asking my finance brethren to accomplish, I have found to be an effectual and endearing leadership strategy. Providing, for example, budget managers, with the tools to grow within their careers is also personally rewarding. When I’m not identifying financial efficiencies or reengineering budget management, you may find me enjoying time with my family or being active in my community through church and volunteer work. A quote that I find particularly inspiring is from Jim Valvano’s acceptance speech for the Arthur Ashe Courage and Humanitarian Award: “There are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. Number three is you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s one heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.” LinkedIn has provided us with this great tool to connect and share expertise. Please feel free to connect with me and let’s talk!
