About Daniel Copil

As a Maintenance & Facility Manager at Nokian Tyres plc, I oversee the maintenance activities of the plant and ensure the reliability and efficiency of machinery, production and facility equipment. I have more than 13 years of experience in managing maintenance operations in the electronic, automotive and metalworking industries, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and improving key performance indicators such as MTTR and MTBF. I have very strong knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology, ISO 9001:2015, and IATF 16949:2016 standards, and I have successfully implemented and managed continuous improvement projects, new machinery installations, and quality assurance processes. I have strong leadership and management skills, and I enjoy working with cross-functional teams and external contractors to achieve the best outcomes for the organization. My mission is to ensure the optimal functioning and safety of the plant and to support the strategic goals and vision of Nokian Tyres.
